We are very pleased to announce that the annual conference of the Israeli Philosophical Association will be hosted this year by the University of Haifa Department of Philosophy, Haifa, Israel on July 23^th, 2024.

We warmly welcome lecture abstracts and panel proposals, in Hebrew or English, in all areas of philosophy. The deadline for submissions is April 14^th, 2024. Submissions should be sent to: Israel.philosophy@gmail.com . Please include your name and affiliation in the body of your email text.

Lecture abstracts should not exceed 500 words and should be prepared for blind review. Please do not include any identifying information in the submitted abstracts. Panel proposals should include a common subject, introduction (up to 100 words), and the names, affiliation and abstract of three presenters (each up to 300 words). Lectures are limited to 20 minutes plus a 10-minute Q&A. Unless stated otherwise, we will assume that the presentations will be given in the language of their abstracts.

We aim to strengthen communal ties among philosophers. Therefore, the conference will be live, and lecturers should be prepared to travel to Haifa. Please feel free to contact us with any question you may have about traveling in Israel.

Registration fee for the conference is 300 NIS for faculty members, 150 NIS for emeritus and independent fellows, 50 NIS for postdoctoral fellows and only 30 NIS for graduate students, to be transferred directly to the Association's bank account: Bank Hapoalim, branch no. 778, account no. 395707. Please state your full name in the “Comments” section. Payment is possible until the morning of July 23^th, 2024,payment in advance is highly recommended.
